An afternoon in the Kitchen with The Girls Club

Today was a little rainy and I thought we should do something a little different for our afternoon time. I mean the playroom and all its toys are always waiting on little girls to enjoy them. But so is the kitchen! I thought about a fun, easy recipe we all could enjoy and here is what I came up with...
While I do realize you may not have the darling little girls, I'm sure everyone has the other simple items hanging out in your refrigerator or pantry.

No Bake CookiesQuick oats, sugar, milk, cocoa, butter and peanut butter Add 1 cup of sugar
1/2 stick of butter, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1/4 c milk
Bring to a boil and cover saucepan for 30 seconds to allow steam to wash sugar crystals down sides of pan. Stir mixture and bring it to a boil that can't be stirred down for 1 minute.
Remove from heat, stir in 1/2 cup of peanut butter

Add 1 1/2 cup of quick oatsGive a little stir....A little taste test...never hurt anyone...

Drop mixture by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool, or stick in fridge for speedy cooling, then store at room temperture.

Now that was easy and fun!!! By the way, we'll be enjoying these for dessert at our MOPS playdate tomorrow! YUMMO!!
