Pumpkin Patch

It's a yearly tradition in these parts.  To the pumpkin patch for a story, a pumpkin and hay ride.  This year the weather was perfect that we even enjoyed a picnic.
*A sweet friend took pictures for me so I'll have to wait to get them from her...  :)

Bring on the Pumpkins

Monday was cool and raining but that didn't stop our Tuesday from being warm and sunny! We enjoyed a morning at a satellite pumpkin patch with my MOPS group. We actually met at a local church who every year offers a hayride, storytime and a small pumpkin for very little money. Our time and money were well spent. Needless to say, Davis thoroughly enjoyed herself.

Our fun started before we even made it into the 'patch.' There in the parking lot, minding his own business was Mr. Grub. Then along came three little girls, who thought Mr. Grub was pretty interesting. After a few pokes and squeals little Davis attempted picking him up. After all, doesn't he look like fun?
