Busy Beavers!

Isn't she beautiful?

I thought if I posted that photo first you would forget it has been a while since the last post! I apologize. We have been super busy here in Greensboro oh and the computer died last week too. Thanks D for getting her back up and running... but back to busy...last week kept us especially busy with VBS...I know one day we had about 500 children so needless to say we were on our toes!
I'll try and recap some of our favorite moments over the past several weeks...first off was Father's Day. Darrell enjoyed an extended weekend of being showered with "gifts" like Pizza and Movie night, expensive fresh cherries night, beautiful photography and breakfast in bed on Sunday! I think his first Father's Day was memorable.
We also enjoyed many hours over the past several weeks swinging on the hammock. Those are wonderful, we certainly love ours...Last Thursday we took a little trip to Lake Norman to visit the Mahars! We had a wonderful time seeing them especially Jack and Eva! Hey Guys!!! So this was Davis' first time swimming in the lake. Eva graciously allowed Davis to motor around in her jet ski, check it out for yourself! (Oh, Eva, how do you like my pink dress?? Me, I love it!!) Finally, down time was spent organizing our next 'free' or cheap shopping trip!! (You can save all your coupons for me!!) ...Davis and I had a wonderful 3 months together and now she must learn to share her mom with two others little girls and I too must learn to share my love!...
Tuesday, as in the first of July, I started taking care of two little girls...Maisie (6 months) and Lucy (23 months). Our days will now be filled with lots of girlie things~ Soon we will be going to the pool, park, Natural Science Center, Kids Museum and where ever else the car takes us!
Davis now loves to sit in her BeBe Pod chair (the old Bumbo chair). She plays with the toy that attaches to it like crazy! She especially likes to grab it and lick, suck, bite, drool, and lick some more on it. She is such a blessing and fills my days with joy. Enjoy her recent photos!

Happy Father's Day!

Hey Davie baby! Morgan - I can't believe how much she has grown and changed. Davis is so beautiful. Sorry we missed Mexi night at your place, we enjoyed shrimp and margaritas instead here at Oak Island. Maybe Ruthie and I can join you and the girls for an afternoon at the pool soon!
