On the Farm

There was something about the buildings and the sky on this particular Saturday.  I don't know what it was, the green grass and grey sky?  Maybe the vibrant forsythia bush just over Darrell's left shoulder.  Whatever it was that day I loved it.  I wanted to capture it.  Darrell put on old overalls to help his father move the cattle from one pasture to another.  While he was gone Davis and Lawson enjoyed running around in the back yard.  The weather was sunny and almost hot, too warm for mid-March for sure.  It sure was nice though.  A quiet afternoon, spent with family, enjoying the farm.
